Moonlight
Moonlight, 2017
Transcription
The sun sets and I am born of moon shadows glittering over the island. Cast by my tree. I sigh in the night quiet dancing across the ground and against the cliff. My tree sleeps and I whisper to the others my hello. We talk and bend and stretch. The others awake and join us, climbing out of their graves and stretching too. It was a long day to be in the ground. They float between us and the moonlight restores their bodies.
They smile and laugh.
We enjoy the night’s peace and disappear at dawnbreak.
